Okay, after a lot of heartache & indecision, I went for 1 necessity with 'value', and 1 'luxury'. The 'value' item was a great Calphalon non-stick pan with an aluminium lid which I really need (mine are so old) & it cost just $29.95, discounted $100 from $129.95, & the luxury item was a fantastic Kuhn Rikon hand-held automatic Cookie press- which includes over 20 discs- for $17.95.
Once again, thank you.

I don't want to make you all TOO jealous, but I am debating whether to go for A. Nigella Lawson's very dinkily designed (by Conran) beach-wood cutting board- with a really neat pull-out tray for all those bits that one always loses, or B. A fantastic Sushi-making set- with manual- all the sauces, wrappers, etc- I have ALWAYS wanted to make sushi AND a Chrome Pasta machine- to make spaghetti or Fettucine.
Any feedback would really be apprecciated.

Nice recipe, but personally I find pound cake a tad too rich - I have a great recipe for scones that would be a fabulous alternative. Its on the way to you , Jay!
